WizzBanger Value FAQ

WizzBanger™ Value FAQs

Everything you need to know about getting accurate, AI-powered boat valuations

What is WizzBanger™ Value?

WizzBanger™ Value is a digital valuation report generated by advanced AI models using your uploaded boat photos and details. It provides a real-time market value range, condition score, and comparables—all tailored to your specific boat.

How does WizzBanger™ Value work?

In summary: You upload photos, confirm details, and receive a custom valuation report powered by multiple proprietary AI models that analyze condition, features, and market data.

The process is:

  • Upload 4+ clear boat photos (interior, exterior, engine, etc.) Our AI makes sure these are valid images.
  • Our AI then identifies the make, model, features, and visible condition
  • Then we run your boat’s data through multiple AI and algorithmic models to get accurate results
  • You receive a detailed report with estimated value range, condition score and market insights

How many photos should I upload?

You should include photos of the major aspects of the boat, especially any areas that may have an issue. The system can make a pretty good estimate off of a single photo, but if you need a detail condition report, you will want to submit more. Ideally you take photos of the hull, console, decking, electronics, engines, special features. Ten photos for most boats will work perfectly.

How accurate is WizzBanger™ Value?

Valuations typically fall within 5–10% of actual sale prices, thanks to over 34 million training images, current market comps, and advanced condition scoring.

What’s included in my valuation report?

Each report contains:

  • A low-to-high estimated value range
  • Comparable boat listings
  • AI-assessed condition score (1–10)
  • Component-by-component analysis (hull, engine, electronics, etc.)
  • Disclaimers on missing/uncertain data
  • Regional pricing trends

What if the app misidentifies my boat?

You can manually edit make, model, and other specs before finalizing your submission. All manual edits are logged and included in your report’s audit trail for transparency.

Does the report use my location?

Yes. Photo metadata is used for geo-verification. If location data is missing or inconsistent, we add a disclaimer. Accurate location helps us match your boat to regional demand trends.

How the WizzBanger™ Condition Score Works

Each major system—such as hull, engine, console, and electronics—is individually scored from 1 to 10. These scores combine into an overall condition rating. Here’s what each range typically means:

  • All electronics (GPS, VHF, radar, audio) are modern and working

Good (7.0–8.9)

  • Light gelcoat fading or minor dock rash
  • Moderate engine hours (100–400)
  • Slight sun bleaching or light mildew in low-traffic areas
  • Older but functional electronics (e.g., GPS from 5–7 years ago)

Fair (4.0–6.9)

  • Gelcoat oxidation visible, minor spider cracks or faded decals
  • High engine hours (>500)
  • Mildew on cushions or visible water damage in compartments
  • Electronics partially working or outdated beyond 10 years
  • Wiring is cluttered or shows signs of corrosion
  • Stress cracks around mounting hardware
